Travel requirements due to Covid-19

There are a few things you need to think about when out traveling in this new situation.

Face mask

No matter where you travel - always bring a face mask that covers your nose and mouth. This is now mandatory in most European countries. Many countries now fine people (up to €330) for not wearing a mask. Children under the age of 5 are not required to wear masks.

World Health Organization have put together a guide on when and how to wear a mask.

Seat reservations

Many train operators now require you to have a valid seat reservation on all trains. All tickets that are booked though All Aboard always includes seat reservations where applicable.

Avoid busy hours

By avoiding peak hours it's easier to keep distance to other travelers. Knowing what a peak hour is of course hard to know and it may vary over time and destination. But as a rule of thumb is to avoid travel around 07.00-09.00 and 16.00-18.00 close to bigger cities such as Paris, London, Berlin and Hamburg.
